Ross Women finish league season undefeated!
In a local derby last night Ross Women beat Ross Ladies in an evenly contested games to finish the league season with 17 wins and 1 draw.
Following a gracious guard of honour from the Ladies team the game began and was played in great spirit. It was another great game between the two sides with some fine football on show from both teams. Summer in particular excelled making save after save, the Ladies were dangerous on the break and the Womens team started to grow.
The final score was 4-1. Iz who was delighted with her first goal of the season, Eva, Macy and Kimmi scored for the Women and Danie with a stunning strike for the Ladies.
It’s been quite the season for the club with the Ladies team finishing 4th with an impressive second half of season flourish and Cup runners up. A new social adult female session has begun and the Women’s team have won the league, Invitational Cup and County Cup runners up.
George Leyshon-James and Joanne Roberts from the Herefordshire FA presented the league trophy and medals to the Women’s team after.
