JOHN BARNES EVENING

On 25th May 2019 we were visited by Liverpool and England legend, John Barnes at the Sports Centre.

​

A large marquee was erected on the main football pitch and a stage constructed for the event. With over 150 attending it was quite the occasion as John spoke about his career, background and struggles with racism. 

​

The event was a huge success and John was engaging, interested about the club and keen to meet our members. He even rolled out the rap from World in Motion.
