BOYS FOOTBALL
We have 16 boys teams across 11 different ages groups who were entered into the 2023/24 leagues. From U6s through to U16s, We cater for young players of all abilities who want to learn the game and have fun. We also have a younger vibrant tots section now with 2-4 year-olds training with the club and a Saturday club too.
Boys come to play for Ross Juniors from all across South Herefordshire, including Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Hereford, and even parts of Gloucestershire and Wales. Many of our boys have gone on to play for academies at Hereford FC, West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, and Aston Villa. Mark Derricott one of our former players is in the Hereford FC squad this year and the club are proud to sponsor Mark and wish him all the best.
One of the major recent successes has been the immersion of players from our junior section into our men's team over the last few seasons as the club and players benefit from their pathway..

Under 6 Juniors
One of our newest teams at the club, the boys are all in year 1 and have just started training on Saturday mornings 9-10am.
The aim is to grow them as a team and friends ready for next seasons U7's league and summer tournaments. They are coached by Paul and Eva.
We are looking for sponsors for their first ever kit.
Under 7 Juniors
The Under 7 Juniors only began last season and over the year grew as a team and had great fun playing tournaments and matches as they prepared themselves for their first ever league season.
The club would like to thank Unity Doors for their generous sponsorship of their home kit. The boys are coached by Dan and Martin and will be playing Saturdays in the Herefordshire Junior Football League. (HJFL).
Under 8 Juniors
The Under 8 Juniors coached by Julian and Tony and last year had their first ever season in the Herefordshire Junior Football League.
Over the summer they went on to do very well in several summer tournaments recently as they progress as a team greatly.
The kit is kindly sponsored by Carters.
Under 8 Colts
The boys last season played in the HJFL Under 7's league for their very first season in a league. The Colts are be coached by Lewis and are an enthusiastic and friendly set of boys who have seen much improvement as a a team. This season they look forward to progressing further and enjoying the HJFL U8 league.

Under 9 Juniors
Ross Juniors U9s are boys in school year 4and will be playing in the Herefordshire Junior Football League U9division in September.
The team is coached by Carly, Charlotte and Cara and the games are on Saturday mornings. Training is 6-7 pm Monday evenings at the Sports Centre. The boys have only just started their football adventure and are very excited about their second season.
The team is generously sponsored by West Bank Residential Home.
Under 9 Colts
This team comprises boys from school year 4. The boys train on a Monday night 6-7 pm, coached by Ann.
The boys are a brand new team for this season and are very excited to be joining a league.

Under 10 Juniors
This team comprises boys from school year 5. The boys train on a Monday night 6-7 pm, coached by Luke, Roger and Andrew.
The boys had a fantastic season last year and won several trophies across the summer in tournaments..
The boys will be in the Severn Vale Youth Football U10 league this season and did brilliantly playing last season. The boys are sponsored by Dawleys and Bosse.
Under 11 Juniors
Ross Juniors U11s are boys in school year 6 and play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League.
The team after a great second season are now going into their third season.. Games are on Saturday mornings. Training is 6-7 pm Thursday evenings at JKHS.
The team kit is kindly donated by Beefeater and TR Yates General Builder and the boys are coached by Chris and Ed.
Under 12 Juniors
Ross Juniors U12s are boys in school year 7 and play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League.
The team is coached by Ryan and Mark and train Tuesday at 6 pm at Ross Sports Centre (JKHS during the winter months) and play on Sunday mornings.

Under 12 Colts
Ross Juniors U12s are boys in school year 7 and play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League on Sunday mornings.
The team is coached by Chris and Stefan with assistance from Scott, and train Tuesday at 6 pm at Ross Sports Centre (JKHS during the winter months) and play on Sunday mornings.

Under 13 Juniors
Ross Juniors U13's play in the Severn Valley Youth Football League on Saturday Mornings.
Since forming in the summer of 2018, the team have had an incredible 5 years reaching the County Cup Final on 4 occasions and winning a number of local tournaments.
The team is coached by Mike on Thursday evenings at Ross Sports Centre )and at JKHS during the winter months).

Under 13 Colts
The Under 13's are now into their fourth season in the HJFL.
Coached by Dean and Mark the team are all year 8 and have a great work ethic and have built a great understanding on the pitch. The improvements in performance has been clear to see from game to game.
Games are Sunday mornings and training is on Thursday evenings.

Under 13 Royals
Ross Juniors Royals U13s are a recently formed team, last season being their first, who play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League on Sunday mornings.
The team is coached by Matt on Thursdays at 6pm at Ross Sports Centre (and at JKHS during the winter months).

Under 14 Juniors
Ross Junior U14 Juniors have been together as a team for 8 seasons now. The team are managed by Spud and Bryan.
Training takes place on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. Games are on Sunday mornings.

Under 14 Colts
Ross Junior U14 Colts have grown every year as a team under Sam's leadership, with a strong well-coached set of boys they are beginning to realise their potential.
Training takes place on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. Games are on Sunday mornings.

Under 15 Juniors
Ross Junior U15 Juniors had a great season in the HJFL league recently Numbers have soared and the boys have started this seasons league well.
The team are coached by Matt and are generously sponsored by HP Scaffolding and Lucky Pets.
Under 16 Juniors
Ross Junior U16 Juniors have a great work ethic and really positive attitude. Mark the coaches have built a great squad.
The boys currently play in the Herefordshire Junior League on Sunday afternoons.
