We have 13 boys teams across 9 different ages groups who will be entered into various 2026/27 leagues. From U8s through to U16s, We cater for young players of all abilities who want to learn the game and have fun. We also have a younger vibrant tots section now with 2-4 year-olds training with the club and a Saturday club too, for those players who want to train and not play or where we don't have space in a team.

We have teams that play in Herefordshire Junior Football League, Severn Valley Youth Football League and the Junior Premier League.
Boys come to play for Ross Juniors from all across South Herefordshire, including Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Hereford, and even parts of Gloucestershire and Wales.
Many of our boys have gone on to play for academies at Hereford FC, West Bromwich Albion, Cheltenham Town, Birmingham City, and Aston Villa. Mark Derricott one of our former players is in the Hereford FC squad this year and the club are proud to sponsor Mark and wish him all the best for a successful breakthrough season.

From when the boys start we offer them a pathway all the way through to adult football. One of the recent successes has been the immersion of players from our junior section into our men's team over the last few seasons as the club and players benefit from their pathway.

Under 8 Juniors
Ross Junior U8's were formed off the back of the clubs Saturday morning PACES sessions when the boys were aged 5&6. This is our second season in the HJFL and the boys are going from strength to strength learning the ins and outs of junior football. With the majority of our boys having played together for 3 years now, were a friendly team with a really positive team spirit. We train on a Wednesday evening from 6-7 and play our games on Saturdays at 9:30am. Winter training times may vary.
The team are coached by Daniel Fox & John Moulton.

Under 8 Colts
Ross Juniors U8 Colts play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League on Saturday mornings at 9:30am and train on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Winter training times may vary.
The team were formed in 2026 from a group of 10 players who had been playing together for a long period of time in the Saturday morning PACES/CR Coaching training sessions, which are held at the sports centre.
The team are coached by Nick with support from Max and Stefan.

Under 9 Juniors
Ross Juniors U9's are in the Severn Valley Youth League, this is their second season in this league after a successful first season as U8's and coming away Challenge Cup Winners.
A majority of the boys have been together since they were U6's and have welcomed new faces along the way.
They are coached by Luke and Martin with training being held at the sports centre on Wednesday evenings 6-7pm and games being played on Saturday mornings at 10.30am. Winter training times may vary.

Under 10 Juniors
Ross Juniors U10s are a friendly, hardworking team that play in the Herefordshire junior league on Saturdays. The team started out as U5's growing in numbers each season. They are coached by Dan and Gavin with training on Mondays 6-7pm. Winter training times may vary.

Under 11 Juniors
After four successful years in the Herefordshire Junior Football League, Ross Juniors U11s have made the exciting switch across to the Junior Premier League (JPL) for the 2026/27 season.
We have a talented, hard-working squad who love challenging themselves every week. While most of the players have been together since the U7s, we’ve welcomed new additions along the way and are always keen to see fresh faces at training.
Led by coaches Julian and Tony, the squad trains on Thursday evenings, with JPL fixtures played on Saturday afternoons in Bristol.

Our under 11 colts are coached by Lewis Bennett & Paul (Henry) Francis and play in the Herefordshire Junior Football League.

Under 12 Juniors
Ross Junior U12's compete in the Gloucestershire Severn Valley Football League, group 12A. The majority of the squad have been together since U7 and are excited to build on the successes achieved in previous seasons.
With several new players joining the team this season, we are looking forward to the challenge of competing in a new league, developing our football and continuing to grow together as a team. The team is predominantly coached by Carly, with the support of Adam during training evenings. Training takes place every Monday evening from 6-7pm at the Sports Centre, with competitive fixtures being played on a Saturday. Winter training times may vary.

Under 12 Colts
Ross U12 Colts were formed at the start of the 23/24 season At U9. The Colts have joined the SVYL this season group 12C, we are looking forward to a new challenge with new opponents.
Previously we played in the HFYL where we excelled in our group. We are a developing team with mixed abilities. The team is coached by Anne and Tom on a Monday evening 6-7.30pm. We play on Saturday mornings 10.30am. Winter training times may vary.

Under 13 Juniors
Ross Juniors U13s are coached by Luke and Andrew and compete in Division A of the Severn Valley League. We are a talented and competitive group who love our football and always play to win. Our focus is on developing every player, helping the boys improve individually and as a team, while creating an environment where they can enjoy their football and be the best they can be.
The team trains every Monday evening, and after continuing to develop over recent seasons, our ambition this year is simple, to compete at the top and challenge for the league title.

Our Ross Juniors U14's are coached by Ed Murphy, James (Jimmy) Moreton, Chris Allen & Immie Stephen and play in the Herefordshire Juinor Football League.

Under 15 Juniors​
Ross Juniors U15's are managed by Scott Parker, with a 3 man coaching unit of Ryan, Stef and Bryan. We train on Tuesday nights from 6 to 7pm. Winter training times may vary. There is a strong focus on fitness, speed and physical development, and the main coaching objective is to develop each player individually both physically and technically. The philosophy is one of each individual being comfortable and competent to play in a team that does not chase goals, but plays to enjoy football, playing with flair and confidence.
The team plays in the HJFL U15 league, with 14 other teams, providing 26 league matches and the possibility of a further 5 matches in the cup competition.
