Last Thursday it was grey, it was raining, it was bleak. This did not deter our new SSE Wildcats at all though. An impressive 14 turned up for the first session, girls ranging from 5-11 years old. With a further 7 starting next week it’s a great start for the newest section to the club. There were many future Alex Scott’s, Kerys Harrop’s and Fran Kirby’s in attendance.
Warm up drills were followed by fun games then a match. Goals a plenty were scored but the wildcats are under strict instructions to improve their goal
celebrations for next week! The girls were thrilled to learn at the end of the session that they have fun wildcat books to complete and a trip is planned for the girls to play football at Play Birmingham then food and a party before watching Birmingham City Ladies at St Andrews.
Wildcats continues next Thursday 6-7pm at Ross Sports Centre, new players welcome.
