In the Easter holidays Ross Junior Girls will be hosting Wanderers FC a touring Australian Girls Football side. Ross will be fielding an u13/14 side and an U16s side to play our visitors from Australia who are on a European Tour. The afternoon will see a club day being run with a football village including bubble football, inflatables, skills challenges, speed cages and a free style footballer. There will also be a Easter soccer school that day so alongside the coaching and childcare the players get to participate in the day and football village. Then at 3pm Ross will do battle with the Wanderers in our own version of the football ashes. The visiting team will be accompanied by 4 Superstar Australian W League players who will be coaching and managing their teams in their games against us. Last year the Wanderers played Tottenham Hotspur Girls so its a big honour for the club to being hosting them. The clubhouse will be open, a bbq being run and the visitors will be staying in Ross that evening and socialising with our girls from the match so a great cultural experience too.
