We are planning on expanding our girls section to 12 teams for next season (2019/20) so we are looking for new players and coaches to join our great girls club.
We have an awesome girls section, producing England and Wales schoolgirl internationals, producing many RTC academy players and boast great links with several WSL clubs. With regular player visits and coaching from Birmingham and Bristol City Women’s and trips to watch WSL games there is always so much going on. Our links with these club give us the chance to provide amazing opportunities for our existing players.
In the last few years we’ve been mascots for England Women in the euros, for Birmingham City, Arsenal and Chelsea women’s sides and been on tour to Holland and France. On the pitch there have been many successes with league, cup and tournaments won plus being National Futsal champions in 2017. Its a very social club with plenty of opportunities for all on and off the pitch.
With teams for players of all ages and experience why don’t you come along to a training session and see what it’s all about? We are aiming to run two teams in our Under 8,10,12 and 14 age groups and one in the older age ranges up to our Women's section. We would be also very keen to have an under 16 girls team playing from the club.The ultimate aim is to have a fantastic women's team full of homegrown players who have been through the clubs youth section.
We are also keen on finding new coaches particularly for our Under 8's section. With our coaches in this age group moving up to Under 10's we need a manager/coach for our Under 8 Juniors and Colts teams. We already have players in this age group for next season and our due to run SSE Wildcats again this Spring which will add to numbers. Last year we ran the most successful SSE Wildcats programme in the County with lots of new girls joining our club. We will provide any new coaches with all the training and support you need and access to qualifications too. We have an excellent committee who will help you behind the scenes with finding sponsors, providing kit and equipment so you can concentrate on coaching.
For next season we are planning to be bigger and better and would be delighted to hear from any girls keen on getting started in football or progressing their football journey with us, same with any prospective new or existing coaches. Our facilities are second to none with refurbished clubhouse, changing rooms, 8 great pitches and exciting plans to improve facilities in the pipeline.
